Contradata presents the new fanless Panel PC series PPC-F-ULT5 from iEi Integration, developed around the Intel Whiskey Lake platform. Currently there are 4 models released, equipped with displays from 15 "to 19" and a "true flat" aluminum front panel with IP66 protection from water and dust. The two processor variants, the quad core Intel Core i5-8365U and the dual core Celeron 4305UE, allow to offer two different performance levels based on application and cost needs. All versions are completely fanless and feature an attractive and slim design. The projected capacitive touchscreen supports multi-touch operations up to 10 points.
Rich and performing I/O set:
All the models share a very rich I/O set: 3x Gigabit LAN, 2x COM (one RS-232 and one RS-232/422/485), 4x USB 3.2 Gen2, Audio Line Out and HDMI output for secondary display. The data storage is based on an external accesible 2.5" HDD/SSD bay and an M.2 slot supporting high-performance NVMe memories. An additional M.2 slot is also available for various types of expansions.
Robust and Reliable:
All models of the PPC-F-ULT5 series support an operating temperature range from -10° to +50° C and offer IP66 front panel protection. Features that make them suitable for heavy industrial applications, including semi-outdoor ones. An anti-reflection treatment (AG anti-glare) has also been provided to allow it to be used in bright environments.
Optional power supply via PoE:
In addition to the 12VDC power input, the PPC-F-ULT5 panel PCs provide the possibility of being optionally powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet). To offer flexibility and compatibility with the various PoE standards available on the market, it is possible to power the device via the IEEE802.3bt standard using a PoE network port or via the IEEE 802.3at standard, using two PoE network ports.
