P1101 systems are designed to be positioned as "One Computer, Two Applications", and can be used both as stand-alone embedded computers and as system module for the realization of the CV and CS industrial Panel PC series. The P1101 series is equipped with Intel® Apollo Lake processors, including the Intel® Atom® x7-E3950 and the Intel® Pentium® N4200. Compared to the Intel® Bay Trail platform, Intel® Apollo Lake processors boost an increase of up to 1.7 times in computing power and support higher memory speeds. By integrating Intel® HD 505 graphics, the processor is able to offer greatly improved playback performance and video encoding for multimedia applications.

With an elegant appearance and a slim profile, the P1101 series integrates advanced I/O interfaces, including 2x Intel GbE LAN, 4x USB 3.0, 4x COMs and 8x Digital I/O with optical isolation. The system also supports three independent displays running simultaneously and enables 4K / 2K playback via DisplayPort. In addition, 2x Mini PCI Express and 1x SIM socket are supported to enhance the system with additional I/O interfaces and wireless connections. The systems include a 2.5 "SATA HDD/SSD bay and an mSATA socket. Users can also install ready-to-use CFM modules to add features such as" Power Ignition "and" Power-over-Ethernet".

The rugged design features offer a temperature range from -40 ° to + 70 ° C and high resistance to shocks and vibrations. This approach also minimizes maintenance and offers a huge number of possible Panel PC configurations with a reduced inventory.

The possible combinations between PC and Display modules are numerous. In fact, the range allows the creation of Panel PCs with a 8.4" display up to 21.5", with standard or high brightness, and with resistive or capacitive projection touchscreens.
