DA-1100: fanless systems with Intel® Apollo Lake processors

Wednesday, February 6, 2019

The DA-1100 series consists of ultra-compact embedded systems based on the new Intel® Celeron® N3350 and Pentium® N4200 processors with Intel Gen9 HD Graphics, offering sustained computing performance, advanced graphics and reduced power consumption.

Like all Cincoze systems, the DA-1100 series is based on rugged design criteria. The systems are completely fanless and cable-free, with extended operating temperature range from -40 ° to + 70 ° C, high resistance to shock and vibration (5G / 50G) and wide range 9-48 VDC power input, with protection for over-voltage, over-current and reverse polarity; key features for a safe deployment in industrial applications.

The on-board I/O set is particularly rich: 2x Gigabit Intel LAN, 2x RS-232/422/485, 5x USB, DVI-I (VGA + DVI-D), Line-out, Mic-in, Power buttons and remote Reset. The systems also have an area accessible from the outside that includes an AT / ATX power management switch, a SIM card socket and the Clear CMOS switch. For storage, there are internally a 2.5 "SATA HDD/SSD slot and an mSATA socket.

Also based on the innovative CMI and CFM technologies, the DA-1100 series offer the user an extended range of expansion possibilities. Thanks to the modular architecture it is in fact possible to add "on-demand" functions such as video interfaces, serial ports, isolated digital I/O, Power-over-Ethernet ports and many other types of interface. The two internal Mini PCI Express slots also allow to expand the system with cards of this standard form factor.

Thanks to the optional Power-over-Ethernet connectivity offering up to 2 PoE ports with a power budget of 25.5 W per port, the DA-1100 series systems represent one of the most compact solutions in the world for machine vision and video surveillance applications.
